Actor Nani described his upcoming film HIT: The Third Case as “not just a film, but an amazing experience,” emphasizing its unique identity separate from the previous installments in the franchise. Speaking at a press meet in Chennai ahead of the movie’s multi-lingual release on May 1st, Nani addressed the Tamil audience, stating, “Whenever I come to Chennai, I feel like I’ve come to my own home.”

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, who also helmed the earlier HIT films, this installment is presented by Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions. While acknowledging the previous parts, Nani clarified the nature of the new film. “There is no connection between this and the first two films,” he explained, though adding, “Some characters from HIT 1 and HIT 2 might appear. But the story is new, the storytelling style is new.” He assured that HIT 3 contains all the elements for audiences to enjoy in theatres.

Nani highlighted the technical aspects, praising director Sailesh Kolanu, cinematographer Sanu John Varghese, and composer Mickey J Meyer. “Mickey J Meyer’s background score will definitely captivate you,” he noted. Describing the film as a “rare investigative thriller” and a “mass commercial entertainer” while cautioning it wouldn’t be a typical commercial film, Nani expressed confidence in its quality. “The experience audiences get watching HIT 3 in theatres will be different from the other two parts,” he asserted.

The film marks the Telugu debut for actor Srinidhi Shetty, known for her roles in the K.G.F series and Cobra. Shetty shared her excitement about working with Nani, revealing, “I was a fan of Nani during college… I waited to see if I would get a chance to act with him. My dream has come true.” She expressed gratitude to the director and Nani for selecting her for the role.

He cited Nani’s track record and the established success of the HIT franchise as reasons for his confidence in the film’s prospects.
