At the thank-you event, the team announced Suriya’s donation of Rs 10 crore from the film’s profits to the Agaram Foundation, his educational charity.
Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, stars Suriya alongside Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, Nassar, and Prakash Raj. The film is a joint production of Suriya and Jyotika’s 2D Entertainment and Stone Bench Films, with Rajsekar Pandian and Karthikeyan Santhanam serving as co-producers.
