Actor Santhanam described his upcoming film Devil’s Double Next Level as a “summer treat” for audiences, promising a satisfying experience with a good story, screenplay, comedy, and acting. Speaking at a press meet in Chennai alongside actor Arya, who is presenting the film, and director S. Prem Anand, Santhanam credited Arya for encouraging him to fully immerse himself in the project. “He told me, ‘Work completely on Devil’s Double Next Level. Show all your creativity. I’ll take care of all your problems’,” Santhanam recounted. The comedy horror film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 16th.
Arya, representing The Show People banner in association with Niharikha Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm for the film’s concept. “The characters get transported within a film. When Prem told me this concept, it was very interesting,” Arya stated. He praised the execution by director Prem Anand and Santhanam, noting their dedicated effort for over a year. “I believe everyone can experience this 100%,” Arya added, expressing hope for future collaborations on subsequent parts of the franchise.

Director S. Prem Anand, who previously directed Santhanam in DD Returns, highlighted the strong friendship between Santhanam and Arya as a key factor in the film’s realization. He humorously recalled telling Santhanam he would “erect a statue” for him and Arya if the film succeeded, to which Santhanam later quipped, “Even if you don’t erect a statue for us, don’t cause trouble for our friendship; finish the film quickly.” Prem Anand described the film as not an average horror movie but one containing a “fantasy world” and praised the challenging post-production work. He also referred to the film as “Santhanam’s next level” rather than just Devil’s Double Next Level.
Santhanam reiterated his comparison of director Prem Anand to Christopher Nolan, citing his ability to weave multiple layers into a story in an engaging manner. “The output was very good; this film will be a wonderful comedy treat for the fans. You will all enjoy it completely,” Santhanam assured.

The film features an ensemble cast including Geethika Tiwari, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Mottai Rajendran. Director Prem Anand specifically thanked directors Gautham Vasudev Menon and Selvaraghavan for their cooperative performances.
