Actress Simran has launched the first-look poster for the upcoming film Red Label, a move noted as a significant endorsement for a new film team, as the actress rarely participates in such events. The film is described as a murder mystery set in a college in Coimbatore.
The filmmakers clarified that the title does not refer to tea or alcohol but is symbolic. “Red” is meant to represent revolution, and “Label” represents identity, with the story reportedly revolving around characters in search of a “revolutionary identity.”
The film marks the lead acting debut of its producer, Lenin, who stars opposite actress Asmin. The cast also features director R.V. Udayakumar in a key role and Munishkanth in a guest appearance.

Red Label is directed by K.R. Vinoth and written by Pon. Parthiban. The technical crew includes music composer Kailas Menon, cinematographer Sathish Meyyappan, and editor Lawrence Kishore. The film is produced under the banner of Revgen Film Factory.
