Abishan Jeevinth, who shot to fame with his debut directorial Tourist Family tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Akkila in Chennai recently, which was attended by the couple’s family members and close friends besides select celebrities.
The couple hosted a Meet and Greet lunch for the media as they embark on their new journey. It was revealed at the event that Abishan and Akkila have been friends from school.
Back in April, at the film’s pre-release event of Tourist Family, Abishan Jeevinth proposed marriage to Akkila and expressed his gratitude to her for staying patient to achieve his dream of directing a film.
Earlier, Tourist Family producer Magesh made headlines after gifting Abishan a BMW car as a wedding present.
Up next, Abishan is all set to don greasepaint to play the lead role in a romantic drama co-produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth. Directed by Madhan, Anaswara Rajan is the female lead.
