The teaser and audio launch of Chennai City Gangsters, produced by BTG Universal and directed by Vikram Rajeshwar, son of filmmaker K. Rajeshwar, and Arun Keshav, took place in Chennai, offering a glimpse into what promises to be a comedy-centric film. The event, attended by the cast and crew, highlighted the film’s musical offerings and comedic elements.

Music director D Imman, whose work has been a focal point of discussion, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. “It’s a pleasure to work on this film produced by BTG Universal,” Imman said. “They have also started BTG Universal Music Publishing Company. All the technicians, lyricists and singers have done a great job.”

Actor Vaibhav, who plays a lead role in the film, assured audiences of the film’s comedic nature. “The film will definitely be a comedy treat,” he stated, thanking the production team and his co-stars for their support.

The production company, owned by Indian-American entrepreneur Bobby Balachandran, is making its mark in the industry following the success of Demonte Colony 2. Balachandran emphasized the film’s aim, saying, “We have made Chennai City Gangsters with the goal of bringing together the best actors and providing quality comedy entertainment.”

Several cast members, including Ilavarasu, John Vijay, and Redin Kingsley, praised the production’s generosity and the collaborative atmosphere on set. Actor Arun Vijay, who attended as a special guest, noted, “BTG Universal’s debut production Demonte Colony-II is doing well at the box office. I feel happy to be a part of the company’s next production Rettai Thala.”

The film, which also stars Athulya Ravi, is scheduled for a September release.
