Filmmaker Prajith Raveendran draws from personal experiences with the supernatural to delve into the world of tantric practices and the afterlife in his upcoming horror film, Devil Hunters. Set to release on March 8, 2024, the film explores the origins of ghosts and evil spirits, promising a blend of chilling scares and real-world inspiration.

Drawing on sources like the Atharva Veda, Devil Hunters promises authentic portrayals of tantric rituals and explores complex questions about life, death, and what lies beyond. Prajith emphasizes the scientific grounding of these concepts within the film, aiming to dispel common myths while crafting a terrifying cinematic experience.

The film stars Prajith Raveendran himself as the master tantric, Veerabhadra Ashaan, alongside Gouri Parvathy as the female lead. Famed actor Sivaji Guruvayoor, known for his nuanced performances, also plays a key role.

Underscoring the film’s unique atmosphere is a soundtrack composed by Silu E Sivadas, featuring a standout piece: a Shiva Tandava Aghori song sung entirely in Sanskrit. This will enhance the movie’s feeling of supernatural terror.

Produced by Rudreshwar Productions, Devil Hunters invites viewers to confront the mysteries of ancient sorcery and the chilling possibilities of the afterlife.
