Hip-hop Aadhi, known for his multifaceted career, is set to release his latest directorial venture, Kadaisi Ulaga Por (The Last World War), on September 20. The film, which Aadhi also wrote, produced, and scored, aims to explore the consequences of war from a unique angle.

“There is no creation without destruction,” Aadhi said at a recent pre-release event. “This film is based on the idea that if we fight, the world will be destroyed. It will definitely be a new experience for the audience.”

The movie features an ensemble cast including Nasser, Natty, Anagha, and Harish Uthaman. Natty, who plays a significant role, expressed his enthusiasm for the project: “I was amazed to hear the story. It’s uncommon to write and shoot such a narrative in this day and age.”

Cinematographer Arjun Raja hinted at innovative visual techniques employed in the film. “We tried something new. The scope of what you’re going to see in theaters will be a very different experience,” he stated.

Actor Anagha, who previously worked with Aadhi, described her role as challenging yet rewarding. “I was initially hesitant, but Aadhi gave me the courage. It’s the most unusual role I’ve ever played,” she said.

The film’s production involved extensive set work and war sequences, with visual effects handled by Jeeva. Editor Pradeep E Raghav and art director R.K. Nagu were also praised for their contributions to the project.

Kadaisi Ulaga Por marks Aadhi’s debut as a producer under his banner Hip-hop Tamizha Entertainment. The film’s approach to war and its consequences has generated interest among industry insiders, with director Sundar C noting, “I’m happy to see Aadhi’s growth from the artist I introduced to someone who now introduces many others to the industry.”
