The audio launch for the upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual film “Kuberaa” was held in Chennai, attended by the film’s lead actors Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, along with director Sekhar Kammula and music composer Devi Sri Prasad. Producers Suniel Narang, Jhanvi Narang, Bharat Narang, and Simran Narang were also present.

Dhanush, addressing the event, described director Sekhar Kammula as “a pure soul, like a divine angel from heaven.” He recounted filming his first scene for “Kuberaa” in Tirupati, playing a character in tattered clothes, an experience he said reminded him of “life’s deeper truths.” Dhanush compared this to a previous experience filming “Raanjhanaa” in Banaras, where he said he realized that “greed, money, worldly pleasures — they are nothing; what matters is a pure soul.” He expressed strong confidence in the film’s impact, stating, “This film will make you all realize that. I’m 2000 times confident about the kind of result Kuberaa will bring.”

Director Sekhar Kammula praised Dhanush, referring to him as a “phenomenal persona.” Kammula expressed his conviction in the film’s quality, stating, “Kuberaa is a brilliant film. Kuberaa is a very brilliant film. Kuberaa is a very, very, very brilliant film.” He also commended costume designer Kavya Sriram for her work on the project.

Actor Nagarjuna shared personal anecdotes connecting him to Chennai and acknowledged the local audience’s continued support. Rashmika Mandanna thanked Sekhar Kammula for her role in the film and expressed a desire to collaborate with Dhanush again in a romantic film.

Music composer Devi Sri Prasad noted the positive reception to the songs “Poyivaa Nanba” and “Trance of Kuberaa.” He recalled his previous musical collaborations with Dhanush on films like “Kutty” and “Venghai.”

The event also saw the participation of cinematographer Niketh Bommi, production designer Thotta Tharani, and lyricists Viveka, Chandrabose, and Nanda Kishore.
