Myyal, produced by Icon Cine Creations LLP, stars Sethu and Samrithi. Director K.S. Ravikumar, another prominent guest, commended the film’s technical team and wished composer Amar, son of music director Soundaryan whom Ravikumar had introduced, a successful career. “Technicians are the strength of a film,” Ravikumar noted. Producer G. Dhananjayan drew parallels between the lead pair’s look and Karthi and Priyamani in Paruthiveeran, expressing hope that Myyal would be a good action-oriented film.

Director Perarasu, while praising K.S. Ravikumar’s supportive nature towards producers, also commented on the formation of rival industry bodies, questioning their motives. He then shifted focus to the film, complimenting the lead pair and the story. Director R.V. Udhayakumar emphasized the importance of producers taking risks to nurture new talent, stating, “If producers are not ready to take risks, a Rajini or Kamal would not have emerged.” He also highlighted the significance of the film’s title, all (infatuation/attraction), in the context of human existence.

Producer P.L. Thenappan expressed confidence in the film’s success and reiterated R.K. Selvamani’s point about the indivisibility of FEFSI (Film Employees Federation of South India). Lyricists Ekathasi and Viveka praised composer Amar’s music and the film’s thoughtful approach. Stunt master Kanal Kannan, who had already seen the film, lauded the performances of the lead actors.

Director APG Ezhumalai credited lead actor Sethu as the primary reason for Myyal’s creation. “All credit goes to my hero Sethu,” he stated, also thanking his producers and the senior directors who attended the event to offer their blessings. Producer Anupama Vikram Singh mentioned that the story has a “soul” and expressed her happiness in introducing the film.
