Actor-director Dhanush’s third directorial venture, Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), showcases a fresh ensemble of young talent including Pavish Narayan, Anikha Surendran, and Priya Prakash Varrier. The film’s audio launch was held in Chennai on February 11, bringing together industry veterans and newcomers.
“Dhanush has trained an entire new battalion of actors. He is not only an exceptional filmmaker but also a globally recognized actor,” said S.J. Suryah at the event. The film, produced by Wunderbar Films, features music by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
“Dhanush wanted a youthful and vibrant musical experience for this film,” said G.V. Prakash Kumar, who worked with Dhanush as a director for the first time. “We have crafted a fresh and unique soundtrack.”
Veteran actress Saranya Ponvannan, who plays a key role, shared her experience: “Dhanush has always treated me like a mother figure. He takes great care of everyone on set.”
The film also features established actors R. Sarathkumar, Aadukalam Naren, Uday Mahesh, and Sridevi in supporting roles. With cinematography by Leon Britto and editing by Prasanna GK, the GenZ love story is set for a February 21 release.
