Prabhu Champions Young Talent at Rajaputhiran Audio Launch

The upcoming film Rajaputhiran, which delves into the emotional bond between a father and son, recently held its audio launch. Veteran actor Prabhu, who plays a pivotal role, used the occasion to emphasize his long-standing commitment to fostering new talent in the film industry.

In Rajaputhiran, actor Vetri takes on the role of Prabhu’s son, with their characters’ heartfelt and realistic emotional struggles forming the core of the story. Krishnapriya plays Vetri’s romantic interest.

“The entire team of Rajaputhiran is young and gives me immense pleasure and energy when you work with fresh talents,” Prabhu remarked at the event. He also shared a significant personal milestone: “I have introduced about 74 debut directors in my career. Maha Kandhan [director of Rajaputhiran] is one such director and I am looking forward to the release of our collaboration.”

Prabhu also offered warm words for his co-star Vetri, stating, “He is very hardworking and dedicated to the craft. He is a wonderful person and always respectful. I am happy to have worked with you.”

The film’s antagonist is played by Komal Kumar, brother of popular Kannada actor Jaggesh. The music for Rajaputhiran is composed by AIS Naufal Raja, featuring lyrics by Vairamuthu. A special ‘kuthu’ number in the film has been sung by T. Rajhendar. The project is produced by KM Safi of Crescent Cine Creations.

The audio launch was a well-attended affair, with celebrities such as actors Mansoor Ali Khan and Thangadurai, and filmmakers Vasanth Sai, Nandha Periyasamy, and SA Chandrasekar among those present.
