Jason Sanjay, son of actor Vijay, is making his directorial debut with the film Sigma, which has now completed 95% of its shooting schedule. The film, an action-adventure comedy, is being produced by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions.

The project features Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, with a supporting cast that includes Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, and Sampath Raj. The narrative is described as a story about a “fearless lone wolf” and will combine elements of a treasure hunt and a criminal heist.

Tamil Kumaran, CEO of Lyca Productions, praised the debutant director’s efficiency and planning. “Director Jason Sanjay has delivered exactly what he promised,” he stated. “Completing 95% of the film within 65 days, with an ensemble of talented artistes, is an incredible feat for a debutant director. We at Lyca are immensely proud to introduce Jason Sanjay as a director.”

The film is a multilingual production in Tamil and Telugu, with shooting having taken place in Chennai, Salem, Thalakona, and Thailand. The technical crew includes music composer Thaman, cinematographer Krishnan Vasant, and editor Praveen K.L.
