Fans of South cinema are buzzing with anticipation as celebrated Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, known for his National Award-winning performance and comedic mastery, gears up for his grand Tamil debut. He’ll join forces with Vikram in the action-packed thriller Chiyaan 62, directed by SU Arun Kumar of Chithha fame.
Vikram, known for his transformative roles, will play a middle-aged man who embarks on a high-octane mission. The film’s announcement video showcased a glimpse of his powerful action persona as he fights for justice. Joining the star-studded cast is SJ Suryah, who will reportedly portray a pivotal police officer role.
Adding to the excitement, Chiyaan 62 marks Suraj Venjaramoodu’s long-awaited foray into Tamil cinema. His performances in Malayalam blockbusters like Android Kunjappan, Driving Licence, Jana Gana Mana, and The Great Indian Kitchen have cemented his status as a critically acclaimed acting force.
Produced by Riya Shibu under HR Pictures banner, with GV Prakash composing the soundtrack, Chiyaan 62 promises to be a cinematic experience unlike any other. Filming begins in April 2024.
