Mysskin Celebrates Choreographer Radhika‘s Directorial Debut with The Proof

Renowned director Mysskin expressed his support for choreographer Radhika‘s transition to filmmaking at the recent music launch event of her debut film, The Proof. Sharing a close bond with Radhika, Mysskin fondly referred to her as Vaadi Bodi, a term of endearment. “She is such a close friend of mine,“ Mysskin revealed. “I have known her since my early days as an assistant director.“

Mysskin recounted his initial attempts to collaborate with Radhika, stating, “When I started directing films, I approached her for my first three projects, but she declined. Then, one day, she called me and said, ‘I‘m ready, sir.‘“ He admired Radhika‘s journey and her eventual embrace of filmmaking, emphasizing the importance of perseverance in the industry. “The important thing is to keep trying; that‘s cinema,“ he remarked.

He further praised Radhika‘s talent and dedication, sharing, “I didn‘t believe her when she told me she had directed a film. But when I heard the dialogue ‘Jayichithiya‘ (I have won) in the film, it resonated with me. It‘s about the spirit of never giving up.“

Mysskin also commended lead actress Sai Dhanshika‘s acting prowess and expressed his desire to collaborate with her in the future. “Sai Dhanshika is a superb actress, and I wanted to cast her in one of my films,“ he revealed. “I plan to write a story for her someday.“

The Proof is a female-centric thriller that delves into women‘s safety, with Dhanshika portraying a lawyer fighting for justice. The film also features Rudhveer Vathan, Maim Gopi, Ritvika, and Indraja in key roles. The music is composed by Radhika‘s son, Deepak.

The music launch event witnessed several prominent film personalities, including producer K. Rajan, director RV Udayakumar, lyricist Snegan, actor Robo Shankar, and actor Mime Gopi, all of whom expressed their support for Radhika and the film.
