The With Love film team staged a drone light show at Chennai’s Besant Nagar beach, deploying 250 synchronised drones to display the film’s title and crew names in the night sky. The promotional event marks what the makers describe as a first for Tamil cinema.
Crowds gathered at the beach watched as the drones formed illuminated patterns, capturing the spectacle on their phones and sharing footage across social media. The videos have since gone viral, generating significant online conversation ahead of the film’s February 6 release.
With Love is directed by debutant Madan and stars Abishan Jeevindt, who previously appeared in Tourist Family, alongside Anaswara Rajan. The romantic film is presented by Soundarya Rajinikanth and MRP Entertainment, with production by Basilian Nazareth and Mahesh Raj Basilian under Zion Films.
The drone show represents one element of a broader promotional strategy the team has adopted in the run-up to release. The event drew attention not only from film audiences but also from the general public present at the beach, with many treating it as a standalone visual spectacle.
The technical team includes music composer Shaan Roldan, cinematographer Shreyas Krishna, editor K. Suresh Kumar, art director Rajkamal, and costume designer Priya Ravi.
