Actors Arjun Das and Anna Ben are set to headline an untitled family entertainer directed by debutant Harish Durairaj. The project, produced by Power House Pictures as their maiden venture, was officially launched today with a traditional pooja ceremony in Chennai.
Billed as a commercial drama set against a unique backdrop, the film features an ensemble quartet comprising Arjun Das, Anna Ben, comedian Yogi Babu, and veteran actress Vadivukkarasi. According to the makers, the narrative is woven entirely around these four principal characters, aiming to appeal to a broad demographic with a mix of humor and sentiment.
Following the launch, the production team has outlined a plan to complete principal photography in a single continuous schedule. Filming will take place across diverse locations, including Chennai, Mangalore, and Mumbai.
The technical crew includes acclaimed composer Sean Roldan, who will provide the score and soundtrack. Aravind Viswanathan has been signed as the cinematographer, with Arul Moses A handling editing duties and Raj Kamal overseeing art direction. Action Santhosh is on board to choreograph the stunt sequences.
This project marks the first on-screen collaboration between Arjun Das, known for his intense roles in films like Kaithi and Master, and Anna Ben, who recently garnered critical acclaim for her performance in Kottukkaali. The film is also produced in association with M&M Movie Makers and Klout Studios.
