Media production and talent management firm Noise and Grains has wrapped principal photography on its maiden feature film venture. The untitled project is a romantic comedy written and directed by Kishore Rajkumar, best known for helming “Naai Sekar.” In a significant shift from his previous directorial work, Kishore also stars as the male lead, opposite acclaimed Malayalam actress Anna Ben.
Produced by Karthik Srinivas and Mahaveer Ashok, the film is billed as a family entertainer designed to appeal to a broad demographic. The narrative focuses on compatibility in relationships, with the makers emphasizing a strong, pivotal role for the female lead. This marks another significant Tamil project for Anna Ben following her role in the critically acclaimed “Kottukkaali.”
Speaking about the creative vision, Kishore Rajkumar drew a parallel to the vintage family dramas of the 1980s. “There’s a feel among film lovers that movies like the ones K. Bhagyaraj sir used to direct are no longer being made. This film aims to fill that gap,” Kishore Rajkumar stated. He added that the screenplay is crafted to deliver a complete feel-good experience with humor prevalent from start to finish.
The technical crew features several collaborators from the director’s previous projects. Praveen Balu handles cinematography and co-writing duties, while Ram Pandian serves as the editor; both had worked with Kishore on “Naai Sekar.” Veteran choreographer Brindha Master has designed a special song for the film, and SriSasikumar K has managed the art direction. With the shooting complete, the team is now moving into post-production, with official announcements regarding the title and soundtrack expected shortly.
