Hridhu Haroon‘s “All We Imagine As Light” Competes for Palme d‘Or at Cannes

Kollywood actor Hridhu Haroon is making waves on the international film scene, starring in All We Imagine As Light, the first Indian film in three decades to compete for the prestigious Palme d‘Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The film, directed by Payal Kapadia, faces stiff competition from renowned filmmakers like Francis Ford Coppola and David Cronenberg.

Haroon, who previously appeared in Brinda Master‘s Tamil film Thaks, Santosh Sivan‘s Mumbaikar, starring Vijay Sethupathi, and the Amazon web series Crash Course, is joined by Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and Shaila Kham in All We Imagine As Light. The film‘s trailer has garnered significant attention globally, highlighting Haroon‘s rising profile in the international film arena.

The actor, currently involved in a Tamil film produced by Vetrimaaran and another directed by Malayalam filmmaker Mustapha, of Kappela fame, is awaiting the announcement of the Cannes Awards on May 25th.
