Legend Saravanan's action thriller Leader, in theatres since April 3, lands on Prime Video on May 29, streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Less than two months after its April theatrical run, Saravanan's father-and-daughter thriller moves to streaming.

Leader, Legend Saravanan’s action thriller, gets a Prime Video premiere on May 29, less than two months after it opened in theatres on April 3. The makers confirmed the date with a poster, settling earlier chatter that had pencilled in a May 1 streaming start.

Directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar with music by Ghibran, Leader is Saravanan’s second film after his 2022 debut Legend. It follows an ordinary father and daughter whose lives are upended when a powerful gangster forces his way in. The cast includes Sham, Andrea, Santhosh Prathap, Payal Rajput and Lal.

The theatrical run, which Saravanan pushed through a leg injury during the big train-fight set piece, drew mixed reviews and a decent box office. The Prime Video release streams in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, opening the film up to the audience that skipped it in cinemas.
