The trailer for Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, starring Vijay Antony, Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, and Megha Akash, was unveiled at a recent event. The film, produced by Infinity Film Venture and directed by Vijay Milton, is slated for a July release.

Producer Dhananjayan set the tone for the event, stating, “They say that one’s past is another’s future. So will this story. I hope you like the film as much as the trailer.”

Director Vijay Milton spoke about his collaboration with the lead actor: “Through this film, I got a chance to interact more closely with Vijay Antony sir. All the technicians have done a great job.” He added, “Tamil cinema has been giving good films like Garudan and Maharaja recently. This film will also join that line.”

The event took an unexpected turn when producer D. Siva addressed the current state of Tamil cinema. “Tamil cinema is in a bad state as far as collections are concerned,” he said. “Please don’t let media criticism or quality stop you from coming to the theaters. This is my humble request. We are all like a family. We always need your support.”

Director Sasi provided context about the film’s production, revealing, “This is the film that Vijay Antony started acting in before Romeo. Vijay Antony has a lot of faith in the story and the director.” He also shared an anecdote about the actor’s commitment to the project’s original title, despite some suggesting a change.

Vijay Antony expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “It’s a pleasure to work with my friend Vijay Milton sir. He is one of the best cinematographers in India.” The actor also highlighted the scale of the production, saying, “This is the biggest film I have ever worked with. I never thought I would act with so many senior actors.”
