The audio launch for the upcoming Tamil film Paramasivan Fathima, starring Vimal, was held in Chennai. The movie, written, directed, and produced by Esakki Karvannan under his Lakshmi Creations banner, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 6. This project follows Karvannan’s previously acclaimed film “Tamilkudimagan,” which featured director-actor Cheran in a leading role.

Esakki Karvannan, speaking at the event, described “Paramasivan Fathima Vimal” as a film rooted in real-life observations. “This is a story related to life. The story of the people who lived around me,” he stated. He further emphasized the film’s thematic core, asserting, “This is not a communal film, it is a film that speaks of humanity.” He commended the contributions of his team, including music director Deepan Chakravarthy, lyricist Ekadasi, and cinematographer Sukumar, and praised Vimal as a “hard worker.”

Lead actor Vimal expressed his gratitude to the director, cinematographer, music director, co-star Saya Devi, and M.S. Bhaskar, and appealed for audience support for the film.

The music for “Paramasivan Fathima Vimal” is composed by Deepan Chakravarthy, with lyrics for all five songs penned by Ekadasi. Ekadasi noted, “All five songs are of different genres. The team has worked very hard and honestly. The music director Deepan Chakravarthy and director Esakki Karvannan paid special attention to ensure the songs came out well.” Deepan Chakravarthy added, “Director Esakki Karvannan is very clear and gets the songs he needs.”

Seeman, leader of Naam Tamilar Katchi, was a prominent guest and praised the film’s direction and music. “Esakki Karvannan has bravely handled a very important issue. His fighting spirit is the reason for making this story into a film,” Seeman remarked, also lauding Deepan Chakravarthy’s music and Ekadasi’s “powerful” lyrics.

Other cast members including Saya Devi, M.S. Bhaskar (who mentioned playing a “revolutionary Father” role), Manoj Kumar, Adhira, Seshvitha Raju, Cool Suresh, and Kaadhal Sugumar also spoke, sharing their experiences and expressing hopes for the film’s success. Cinematographer Maina Sukumar, who also has an acting role, and writer-director Suga, who noted Karvannan based the story on incidents he observed in his hometown, similarly offered their support. Producer P.L. Thenappan commended Karvannan for presenting a “strong story.”

The film’s ensemble cast also includes Sri Ranjani, Aruldoss, and Veerasamar.
