Trisha at Vijay's swearing-in in pastel blue silk
Trisha Krishnan turned up at Chennai's JLN Indoor Stadium for Vijay's swearing-in as Tamil Nadu CM in a pastel blue silk saree paired with a gold blouse.
Trisha Krishnan arrived at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on Sunday morning for Vijay’s swearing-in as Tamil Nadu chief minister, in a pastel blue silk saree paired with a heavily embroidered gold blouse, diamond jewellery, and jasmine in her hair. Speaking to reporters outside her Chennai residence before leaving for the venue, she said she was “looking forward” to the ceremony.
Her presence drew the kind of attention that has followed the two actors through their long shared filmography. They have co-starred in Ghilli, Thirupachi, Aathi, Kuruvi, and Leo, and Trisha appeared in a song sequence in Vijay’s penultimate film, Venkat Prabhu’s The Greatest of All Time. Sunday’s appearance is the first time she has shown up at a Vijay-anchored political event, with the wider film industry now weighing how it will engage with him as chief minister.
