Bhaarath, Saanve Megghana film titled Kaaviya Kaadhal

Bhaarath and Saanve Megghana’s next has a name. The makers have titled the film Kaaviya Kaadhal, unveiling it today with a promo that puts Bhaarath’s character in lover-boy overdrive, going to comic lengths for Saanve Megghana’s character. The piece sets up a straight-down-the-middle romantic entertainer rather than anything genre-bending.

Kaaviya Kaadhal is the directorial debut of Hariharasuthan Azhagiri and the fourth production for Shanthi Talkies, with Arun Viswa producing. Bala Saravanan rounds out the lead cast. The technical crew is a familiar one: Nivas K Prasanna on music, Theni Eswar behind the camera, Ganesh Siva cutting.

This is Bhaarath’s second film as an actor, after the Lokesh Kanagaraj-backed Mr Bhaarath that began his transition from YouTube to mainstream cinema. Saanve Megghana, meanwhile, follows up Kudumbasthan, her Tamil debut from earlier this year, with her sophomore outing in the language. Her Telugu credits include Most Eligible Bachelor, Pushpaka Vimanam, Prema Vimanam and Tuk Tuk.

A first-look poster and shoot updates are expected next from the team, with audio and release plans to follow once post-production locks.
